How the decor style quiz works
Every answer belongs to one to three styles and gives each of them points: 3 when the answer is that style, 2 when it is close, 1 when it would feel at home there. The style with the most points is yours. If a second style is within 70% of it, the quiz names the blend, because most real homes are a mix of two. How to use your result
- Start with the walls. Every result comes with four paint colors that belong to the style. Tap one to try it on a photo of your own room in the room paint visualizer.
- Change the big three first: wall color, the sofa (or bed), and the rug. They set a style more than any number of accessories.
- Use the blend on purpose. If you are 60% farmhouse and 40% Scandinavian, keep the farmhouse warmth in the wood and textiles and borrow the Scandinavian restraint: fewer, lighter things.
- Edit before you buy. Take out what fights the style. A room usually gets its look back from removing, not adding.

Common mistakes when finding your style
- Answering for the house you have, not the one you want. Pick what you are drawn to; the quiz is about direction.
- Treating a style as a set of rules. Styles are starting points. A Japandi room with one vintage rug is still a calm room.
- Buying the whole look at once. Rooms that look collected were collected. Start with color, then add pieces over time.
- Ignoring the architecture. A beamed cottage and a glass-walled loft pull in different directions; lean into what the house already has.

How do I find my interior design style?
Look for what repeats: the photos you save, the colors you keep choosing, the furniture you stop to touch in shops. A quiz groups those choices into a named style so you have words to search for. Then start with the walls, the sofa and the rug, which set a style more than accessories.
What are the main decorating styles?

What is the difference between Japandi and Scandinavian?
Both are calm and natural. Scandinavian is lighter and cozier: white walls, pale oak, wool and sheepskin. Japandi is lower and more spare, with muted earth tones, darker wood accents, stone, paper and handmade ceramics, and more empty space.
Can you mix two decor styles?
Yes, and most good rooms do. Pick one style to lead the big pieces and the wall color, and let the second show up in textiles, lighting and accessories. Keep a shared thread, such as a wood tone or a color, so the two read as one room.
What colors go with a modern farmhouse style?
